| The hotel ‘Grauer Bär’
is located on the outskirts of ‘Kochel am See’ on the ‘deutsche
Alpenstrasse (B11)’ on road to the lake ‘Walchen’ (‘Walchensee’),
‘Mittenwald’ and ‘Innsbruck’. The Bavarian capital
Munich is only 65 km (ca. 40 miles) away!
Arriving by car:
On the Highway (‘Autobahn’) A95 from Munich to
‘Garmisch-Partenkirchen’ take the exit ‘Murnau/Kochel’.
From here it’s only another 9 km (6 miles) to ‘Kochel
am See’. A sufficient number of parking spaces are available.
Arriving by public transport:
The regional train from Munich is going to ‘Kochel
am See’ via ‘Tutzing’ once every hour. In ‘Kochel’
you can usually take the regional bus headed to ‘Mittenwald/Garmisch’
and get off at the stop called ‘Firma Dorst’. Now it’s
only a two minute walk to the hotel ‘Grauer Bär’.
